Hogarth Galleries Hogarth Galleries is Since its opening in 1972, Hogarth Galleries has exhibited and promoted the works of many Australian artists including Brett Whiteley, Lloyd Rees, Sidney Nolan, Mike Brown and Martin Sharpe, to name but a few. Throughout its 30 year history, Hogarth Galleries has supported and exhibited Aboriginal art. Long before the current widespread popularity of this genre, Hogarth Galleries exhibited works from some of our remotest communities and provided the artists with a selling space in the In the 1980’s, the gallery began to focus solely on representing Aboriginal art. Works in many national and international art collections have been purchased through Hogarth Galleries, which has also provided works for numerous exhibitions both in As we move forward into the 21st century, Hogarth Galleries continues to support and promote the finest quality Aboriginal art. The current director of the gallery Melissa Collins, seeks to honor the elder and established artists while also sourcing new and emerging artists whose works excite not only our nation, but also the international art scene.
